Abbey Lennox-2

Hello! My name is Abbey and I am a junior attending Virginia Tech and studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. I am also in Navy ROTC and plan to work in the nuclear energy field with the Navy. This will be my 5th summer teaching with Boolean Girl, which I am especially excited for as I have created a new micro:bit Python class and also revamped the new micro:bit Strawbees class from last summer! I can't wait to teach these classes, so if you are taking any micro:bit class with me we will have a blast together! And a fun fact that you will most definitely get to know about me is that I LOVE cats :D

My name is Andrea and I attend Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, class of 2028. I am studying Computer Science, Chemistry and Biology.  I hope to pursue a career in Neurological Medicine. I love swimming, ultimate frisbee and just being outdoors. I have been a member of Boolean Girl since I was seven and started volunteering when I was in 6th grade. I look forward to meeting everyone this summer!

Hello! My name is Anu and I'm a rising junior at Oakton Highschool where I'm the president of the Society of Women Engineers club. I've been with Boolean Girl since October 2025 and being Boolean Girl kid growing up inspired me so much. I've been interested in Computer Science since 4th grade and I’ve been doing robotics and web development coding since then! In my free time, I love coding fun websites, baking, drawing, playing violin, and playing with my pet birds Piku and Tilly. 
I'm very excited to create, inspire, and empower students through fun stem projects this summer!

Hi! My name is Anupama, and I’m a rising Freshman at Virginia Tech. I will be majoring in Business Information Technology. I’ve been working at Boolean Girl since October 2023! Outside of coding, you can catch me hanging out with my friends or catching up on a book! Can’t wait to meet all of you guys this summer!

Hi! My name is Anya and I’m a rising sophomore at Washington-Liberty High School. I’m interested in using AI and biomechanics within the field of Orthopedic Sports Medicine. I also learned Python this year when taking AP Computer Science!In my free time this summer I will be organizing my donation drive for orthopedic equipment and sports recovery kits for athletes in need, shadowing at Virginia Sports Medicine Institute, being a counselor at CampMed at VHC, and building my AI-powered wearable for the Achilles tendon for the science fair.I also enjoy long runs and walks! I can’t wait to meet everyone at camp this summer and am looking forward to a great summer!

Hi, my name is Arya, and I’m a rising junior at Washington Liberty High School. I’ve been coding since 6th grade and have experience with Python, Java, C++, and web development. Outside of school, I work many jobs such as managing my family’s ice cream store, front desk, and birthday parties at Medstar Capitals Iceplex, being a swim instructor, and my favorite of them all – coding teacher. Besides work, I love playing with my mini labradoodle, Gabbar, spending time with my family, playing my electric guitar, and skateboarding with my friends. I’m so excited to spend my third summer at Boolean Girl!

Hi! My name is Audrey and I'm a rising junior at TJHSST. This will be my second year working with Boolean Girl and I love sharing my passion for STEM with others! In my free time, you can find me at the pool, reading a good book, or spending time with my dog.

Avery Donachie

My name is Avery and I am a senior at Yorktown High School. I am the hardware lead for a distinguished robotics team that competes in Botball (botball.org) - last year my team took second at the international competition.  I am a proud Boolean Girl alumnae and have a passion for all things tech. I still have fond memories of Micro:bit classes at Boolean Girl because I had so much fun!  I also like to spend time creating 3D printing projects.  My favorite part of camp is working with the girls and hearing all the ideas for the robots they want to create.  I'm excited to meet everyone this summer!

Hi, my name is Inaya! I’m a rising senior at Washington-Liberty High School in Arlington, VA, and this is my second year with Boolean Girl. I’ve been coding since 6th grade, enjoy STEM and technology, and hope to pursue a career in the medical field after high school. Outside of school, I enjoy playing sports, baking, and spending time with friends. I’m excited to meet everyone and help students code this summer!

Hi! My name is Infinity, and I’m so excited to be part of Boolean Girl Camp this year!

I am currently a Mechanical Engineering student at Penn State University Park. I’m proud to be NAF-certified and a STEM for Her scholarship recipient. Recently, my Engineering Design and Innovation team competed in the Learning Factory Capstone Project Showcase at the Jordan Bryce Center and made it all the way to the finals. Our team also received the People’s Choice Award for our client-driven digital and physical prototype. This experience is just one example of the hands-on engineering and design projects that I enjoy.

Outside of the classroom, I love modeling, running, crocheting, reading, playing with my dog, and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing an amazing summer together at camp!

Hi, my name is Mariam, I'm a rising senior at Washington-Liberty Highschool. I have been taking coding courses since 8th grade! I hope to pursue a career in Computer Science in the future. I have worked/volunteered at three different tutoring programs so I have first hand experience working with students. I'm excited to share my knowledge in coding with all the students and help them explore the STEM field! Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of school are baking, travelling, and spending time with friends and family! I am looking forward to working as the Associate Instructor with Boolean Girl this summer!

Hi, my name is Quinn! I’m a rising sophomore at Purdue University majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in manufacturing and I graduated from TJHSST. This is my first year working with Boolean Girls and I can’t wait to meet everyone this summer! In my free time I do robotics, rock climbing, travel, 3D printing and hang out with friends. 

Fun fact: My robotics team competed at the World Championship last year!

Hello, my name is Maddy and I am a rising sophomore at H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program. I love anything to do with space and using programming in my work with astrophysics and machine learning. This will be my second year working with Boolean Girl and I look forward to meeting all the campers! I have experience in programming with Python, C++, HTML, and more. I am very excited to help campers leave excited about STEM!

I’ve taken classes in engineering, robotics, and digital input technologies, and I enjoy exploring how coding and engineering connect to the world around us. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching shows, and trying new crafts. I also run track and cross country! I’m looking forward to a great summer!

Hello, my name is Addison Fuelling and I am a rising junior at Washington & Liberty High School, Arlington, VA. This will be my second year with Boolean Girl as an instructor, but I was once a past student like all of you!  In my free time I love to play volleyball, hang out with friends, and go swimming. I have taken classes in both robotics and coding.  I hope to pursue a career in meteorology. My favorite class at Boolean Girl that I helped teach last summer was Strawbees. I can’t wait to meet all of you this summer, it will be a blast!
