After-School STEM Clubhouses

After-school Boolean Girl Clubhouses are designed to bring additional STEM education to students who want more than what they are getting from current course curriculum. Teachers and administrators run these school-hosted and Boolean Girl-sponsored STEM Clubhouses.

We know how busy teachers are. At the elementary school level, computer science is not typically a core subject, and thus not a subject of expertise for many. That’s where Boolean Girl comes in. We provide training and curriculum for teachers and educators running after-school Clubhouses to ensure they are fully equipped and ready to go.

Bring Boolean Girl to Your School

How Funding Works

Boolean Girl Clubhouses are funded through various resources, including grants, donations, and payments for participation. Funding includes compensation for the teachers and high school students that run the program.

At some schools we do a mix of paid and free registrations. With these, we collect payments, typically $100 for 10 weeks of an after-school program. These schools can then offer as many scholarship seats as the paid seats. Teachers then receive 70% of the fees collected from paid-seat revenue, while the rest goes into supplying and running the program on our end. Here’s the breakdown. If you run a class with 20 students for 10 weeks, 10 students would pay for a total of $1000. Ten students could attend on scholarship. The teacher would be compensated $700 (70%) for the 10 week program.

Sponsor a Clubhouse

ALL Boolean Girl Clubhouses are provided free-of-charge to those who cannot afford to pay. We could not provide these resources for children without the support of community partners.
