Summer Camps

Boolean Girl Summer Camps

Girls age 7 + learn computer science and engineering fundamentals through a series of unique projects and hands-on challenges.  Boolean Girl camps have been recognized multiple times as “Best Camps” by our campers, as well as by regional media outlets.

Our programs are fun… and that’s not just our opinion. 96% of our students say that they would recommend our coding camps to a friend and want to take another one.

  • In addition to coding, circuitry, AI, and engineering, we teach broader skills such as teamwork and digital citizenship.
  • STEM high school and college students provide inspiration and guidance about opportunities in STEM.
  • We have fun! Our students learn to code through playing interactive, offline games, and we go outside on breaks.
  • Our curriculum is aligned with state and national standards for computer science.

Camp Locations and Schedule

Our camps include multiple levels of Scratch Programming for Elementary School Students, Robotics for Grades 5 and up, and Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development camps for middle schoolers. Arlington Summer Camps

Boolean Girl instructors are women majoring in STEM at leading Universities across the country.  After weeks of training in early June they are ready to lead our summer camp programs across the DMV.

On Fridays we celebrate our discoveries and achievements. We bring in lunch and show off our work. The girls show their projects and explain how they made it work.

We hate to brag but our instructors are rock stars. They are students in some of the best engineering and computer science programs around the country. During camp they share their STEM journey stories, mentor the girls and are great role models.

We also hire local high school students to help out at camps. Many of these girls were Boolean Girls when they were at Arlington elementary schools and now attend Arlington High Schools or Thomas Jefferson High School. They are great role models and love talking about their experiences and STEM stories and college plans.

Before and after care options are available. View details and make your selections during registration.
