Castille Dennison

My name is Castille Dennison and this is my first year teaching at Boolean Girl Camps! I am a rising sophomore at Cornell University studying Electrical and Computer Engineering with the intent of minoring in Aerospace Engineering. I began coding in middle school, then became a programmer for my high school robotics team. In my spare time this summer, I plan to build my Lego sandcrawler, attend my (college) robotics team competition, and take some ballet classes! I’m so excited to meet everyone at camp this summer!

I’m Mai! I’m studying for a computer science minor at George Washington University. I love drawing and video games, and I’m excited to get creative and code with you guys!

My name is Elizabeth (Liz) Peterson, and I am going into my second year at the University of Virginia. I’m planning on studying Computer Science. This is my first year teaching at Boolean Girl Camps, and I am so excited to be on the team and get to know some awesome people! I love coding, and I’ve been taking computer science since my junior year of high school. I also love hiking and being outside (also I’ve always loved summer camps!)

Hanna Sabbagh

My name is Hanna Sabbagh. I am a rising sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University studying computational and applied mathematical sciences. I am from the northern Virginia area and this is my first year working at Boolean Girl. I love teaching and taught dance classes throughout high school. I am so excited to have fun coding this summer!

My name is Ginger Schwarz and I am a Boolean Girl Instructor. I have my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from American University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science. My biggest passion outside of Computer Science is playing and coaching lacrosse! My favorite classes to teach for Boolean Girl are the Circuits class and the Python Minecraft class.

My name is Ellie Shanker. I am new to teaching at Boolean Girl but I’ve been coding for many years. I’ve taken several coding courses in high school, and I know Python, Java, and Unity. Next fall, I will be studying computer science at James Madison University. In my spare time, I run a Minecraft server and I’m learning to make game modifications.

My name is Michelle Tran. I am a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia! I am intending on majoring in Computer Science through the College of Arts and Sciences. I began coding during my senior year of high school! My favorite part of working with all of the girls is seeing the joy in their faces when they get their code right and running all the different coding your own adventures!

In my spare time, I love hanging and traveling with my friends! Not only that, but I love going to concerts and listening to music! I can’t wait to meet all of you!

My name is Celia Vander Ploeg Fallon. This will be my first year teaching at Boolean Girl Camps. I am a rising sophomore at Carleton College studying Computer Science and German. I have been coding since freshman year at Thomas Jefferson High School. I am so excited to be at camp this year!

My name is Lillie Hornung and I am a Boolean Girl Instructor. I just graduated from American University with a major in Computer Science and a minor in education. Outside of coding, I love reading and baking! My favorite classes to teach for Boolean Girl are the Python classes and circuits.
